FanSided's Week 11 power rankings

The great Russell Baxter is back to writing FanSided's NFL power rankings and this week he also assigned teams midseason grades. For instance, Seattle's Week 11 opponent, the Rams, is ranked 28 but has a midseason grade of C. That's not a bad grade for a 3-6 team but they do warrant the grade as they are about where people thought they would be before the season.

One grade that seems quite odd is the Buffalo Bills being ranked 15 but getting a grade of B-. If anyone said before the year that Buffalo would be 5-5 after 10 games then many would have thought the Bills were not playing very well. This is a team that has gone deep in the playoffs the last couple of seasons, after all.

Several teams received an A or A-. The top three teams, the Detroit Lions, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Philadephia Eagles all did. So did the Houston Texans who are ranked 9. Of course, Houston has far exceeded expectations in 2023, as well as their rookie quarterback, C.J. Stroud.

The Seattle Seahawks rank 13 and received a midseason grade of B. Baxter didn't seem overly optimistic about Seattle, however, pointing out that quarterback Geno Smith has 9 of the team's 10 turnovers this year. He also said the defense has been "too generous" at times, which, of course, they have.
