Seahawks' playoff odds take concerning turn after Week 12 loss
The Seahawks playoff odds took a concerning turn for the worst after losing to the 49ers on Thanksgiving.
The Seattle Seahawks suffered a tough loss on Thanksgiving Day, falling to the San Francisco 49ers by a final score of 31-13. The loss caused them to fall to 6-5 on the season and they've now lost three of their last four games.
As a result, after looking like a near lock to make the playoffs, the Seahawks' odds of making the postseason have taken a turn for the worst.

Now, the Seahawks are actually underdogs to make the playoffs. At +116, Seattle's implied probability of playing in the postseason is 46.3%.
A big part for the shift in odds hasn't only been because of their recent losses. They also have one of the most difficult remaining schedules in the league. Four of their final six games come against teams who are currently sitting in a playoff spot including the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers, and a second game against the 49ers.
To make matters even worse, the teams behind them in the wild card race have some of the easiest schedules remaining. Four of the five easiest schedules left in the NFL belong to the New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Green Bay Packers, all teams who are on the heels of the Seahawks.
