Seattle Seahawks podcast: Breaking down all that happened in preseason Week 2
By Lee Vowell
The Seattle Seahawks moved to 2-0 in the 2023 preseason with a victory over the Dallas Cowboys. Who wins and loses is meaningless in the preseason, of course, but we still learned a bunch about the team. This is especially true about some players trying to make the roster.
Seattle did play their starters some against the Cowboys. Quarterback Geno Smith looked solid, but backup Drew Lock was very good again. Did he make a certain throw that we discuss? Maybe.
We also talk about one defensive player that did not do well. And a few others that did. Plus, do the Seahawks have a real WR4 battle? We discuss all.

There is also lots of excellent and holy and life-altering talk throughout the episode about other items also. For example, Julio Rodriguez of the Seattle Mariners is doing what?! There is a hurricane where?! Also, what happened in the Women's World Cup? Finally, should Jimmy Graham really have been arrested?
You likely want to hear this week’s Rob Gordons which are our top five athletes (and maybe, mathletes?) that are not football players. That is American football, not soccer (or real futbol). It will all make sense once you listen to the program, I hope.
If you want to have the people you drive by on your way to work every day (you know, the ones you blare your car stereo system at far too loudly), you can download the podcast for listening to on the drive. That way you can make sure the podcast is heard by the millions of people you are passing by. We appreciate the free advertising, by the way.
The 12th Man Rising podcast always has you covered on what's new in the Seahawks shire, we must think (we get paid to say that - again, we think we do anyway). Make sure to follow us on Twitter and Facebook to be the first to read about future episodes. Then you can also share that information from your car stereo system.
