Seahawks game-by-game predictions Weeks 4 and 5

Seattle at the New York Giants, Week 4 - Monday Night Football!

Seattle played the Giants in 2022 when Seattle went on their four-game run where they looked like one of the better teams in the NFC. The Seahawks stopped the Giants from running the ball and controlled the game. But New York cannot be overlooked because while they lack a truly great quarterback (and they overpaid for Daniel Jones this offseason), they have a coach who gets the most from his team.

Still, the Giants don't have a lot of receiving talent and Seattle has an excellent secondary which means the Giants will have to defeat Seattle by running the ball. Sure, New York is capable of doing this, especially if Seattle's run defense is no better in 2023. But my guess is Seattle's defense overall is better and the Seahawks get the road win 24-16.

Week 5 - BYE week!

This is probably a good time to stop for Seattle as it will allow the rookies to take a breath. But having a bye week in Week 5 also means there is also a lot of football left to play which means a lot of opportunities for players to get injured.

Best case is that Seattle enters the bye week healthy and 4-0, of course. There is a decent chance they could be at least 3-1. But we will see and it might be a roller coaster the rest of the season.
