Seattle Seahawks draft picks in 2024, 2025 and beyond: Full list
By Lee Vowell
The 2024 NFL draft happens from April 25 through 27. The Seattle Seahawks currently have seven choices in the draft but no second-round pick. This could change both before and during the draft by Seattle trading picks.
2024 will be the first year that general manager John Schneider is in total control of the selections. After Seattle removed Pete Carroll from his coaching and administrative duties, Schneider was named President of Football Operations and is the clear architect of the team moving forward. Whatever happens in this year's draft will be fully Schneider's decisions.
But where will Seattle be choosing in the 2024 draft and years beyond? Here is a look at each of the next three drafts. Of course, only this year has the pick for the round as later years will not be known until after each respective season.
What draft picks do the Seattle Seahawks have this year and after?
2024 Seattle Seahawks draft picks
- First round, pick 16
- Third round, pick 78
- Third round, pick 81
- Fourth round, pick 119
- Fifth round, pick 151
- Sixth round, pick 194
- Seventh round, pick 233
Seattle, of course, traded their second-round choice in 2024 in order to add defensive lineman Leonard Williams at the trade deadline during the 2023 season. Williams was excellent, but he is also a free agent and will likely be an expensive one. The Seahawks likely gave up selecting a player who would have been able to help them for at least four years to get a player who helped Seattle for half a season.
Seattle added a third-round choice in this year's draft after making a trade with the Denver Broncos in the 2023 draft. The wish would be that the picks were a bit higher in the third round, however. Very likely, general manager John Schneider will do a bit of moving around in order to get a second-round selection back by possibly giving up a third-rounder, along with a player or some later-year pick, to help do that.
2025 Seattle Seahawks draft picks
- First round
- Second round
- Third round
- Fourth round
- Sixth round
- Seventh round
In the trade to get Williams, Seattle gave up its fifth-round pick in 2025 as well. That would not be that big of a deal, but the fifth round is where the Seahawks have found some gems since 2010. Kam Chancellor, Richard Sherman, and Riq Woolen (who hopefully will bounce back in 2024 and be closer to the Pro Bowler he was in 2022) were all fifth-round selections in various years. Of course, there is a lot of time in which to get that pick back. It is very unlikely the way the 2025 draft looks now will still look the same way next year.
2026 and beyond Seattle Seahawks draft picks
- First round
- Second round
- Third round
- Fourth round
- Fifth round
- Sixth round
- Seventh round
2026 and beyond all look the same way currently. Seattle, like every NFL team, has a pick in each round. This could change even in the 2024 draft just as the 2025 draft was affected by the Williams trade this past season. 12s can hope that each first-round selection is very late in the round which would mean that Seattle has had very successful seasons.
