Seattle Seahawks final game-by-game predictions for the 2024 season
The preseason is over and the Seattle Seahawks' 53-man roster is set. It is officially time for regular-season Seahawks football. A promising preseason highlighted by the starting offense looking primed for a major breakout in their line drive of the preseason, expectations for the 2024 season appear to be rising.
Thanks to the perceived Mike Macdonald effect and the promising start from offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb's offense, the Seattle Seahawks have gone from a projected bottom-ten team in the league to a legitimate NFC sleeper and playoff threat.
The NFC and the West Division will be no joke this season, as Seattle may find themselves in arguably the best division in football. Can they break out of their 9-8 ways the past two seasons? Will they slip into the first rebuilding season in 15 years? Can the pieces fall in place for a special deep playoff run?
2024 Seattle Seahawks game-by-game predictions
Today, I’m going to predict how I see the Seahawks season unfolding, and if the Mike Macdonald era can get off to a promising start.
Week 1: vs Denver Broncos
Old rivals meet up once again in Seattle for the season opener. The last time the two met was our first glimpse into the Russell Wilson Denver Broncos debacle. This time, Macdonald’s defense gets off to a strong start against rookie Bo Nix and Sean Payton’s Broncos.
Seahawks over Broncos 27-17 (1-0)
Week 2: @ New England Patriots
Seattle draws a break, getting arguably the worst team in the NFL for their first road test. While Jacoby Brissett is better than people think, the Patriots roster is the weakest in arguably 30 years. Brissett makes Seattle sweat, but the Hawks leave Foxboro 2-0.
Seahawks over Patriots 23-20 (2-0)
