Thursday night, the Seattle Seahawks kicked off their 2023 preseason slate with a 24-13 victory over the Minnesota Vikings.
While the win doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, it was nice to see the victory, nonetheless.
Throughout the night, we saw plenty of noteworthy plays unfold. But, there were three that made the cut as the top plays. Let's dive into them and enjoy watching on repeat.
Coby Bryant continues to prove the Seahawks' 2022 draft class was a home run
Last year, the Seahawks had one of the best drafts in their history, simply based off overall value. In the fourth round, they took cornerback Coby Bryant out of Cincinnati before taking UTSA cornerback Tariq Woolen in the next round.
Woolen, of course, would go on to earn Pro Bowl honors as a rookie and finish with six interceptions, a staggering 16 passes defended and nearly took home NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year.
Bryant, meanwhile, proved to be a good value in the fourth round. Thursday night, he showed his physicality for all to see when he made this hammering, and legal, tackle on Vikings receiver Jalen Reagor.
Bryant is firmly locked into the roster as a backup corner behind first-round pick Devon Witherspoon, but he's continuing to prove he's a valuable, young player that the Seahawks won't soon forget drafting.
