The NFL does not leave a lot of drama as to what schedules will look like from season to season. Teams rotate playing other divisions every four years, and the Seattle Seahawks know they will play everyone else in the NFC West at least twice every year. There were only three games that were iffy and those were based on where other teams finished within their own division.

Seattle will have a third-place schedule for those three games in 2024. That means Seattle will play the New York Giants, the likely Russell Wilson-less Denver Broncos, and Atlanta Falcons. Those teams also finished in their place in their respective divisions.

Otherwise, Seattle has a rotation of playing the AFC East and NFC North next season. That means that 2024 looks like a scary year. Every team in the NFC North - the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, and Minnesota Vikings - should be fairly decent to very good. The AFC East features the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills, while the New York Jets have a great defense and the New England Patriots should be better.

Only three of the Seattle Seahawks 2024 opponents were not pre-planned

At Lumen Field in 2024, Seattle will host the Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers, Packers, Vikings, Bills, Dolphins, Broncos, and Giants. That is a ridiculously tough homestretch. Five of those teams made the playoffs this year.

The Seahawks will travel to play the Cardinals, Rams, 49ers, Bears, Lions, Patriots, Jets, and Falcons. I guess on the bright side, at least Seattle won't have to travel to Buffalo. Of course, 12s won't be able to go to Miami to see the Seahawks play either. Only three of the away games will be against 2023 playoff teams.

Of course, there is a lot that will change with nearly every team between now and Week 1 of 2024. There is free agency and the 2024 NFL Draft. Teams will also change coaches, possibly even the Patriots. Heck, the Seahawks might even have some coaching changes before next year. Plus, will Geno Smith still be QB1 in 2024? There is much to learn.

The NFL schedule will be released in the spring. In 2023, the schedule was released on May 11. The same will probably hold true of 2024 as well which means a couple of weeks after the draft is over, NFL fans should know the 2024 schedule as far as dates and times.
