Seattle Seahawks podcast: How Seattle can beat the Bengals in Week 6
By Lee Vowell
The Seattle Seahawks travel nearly all the way across the country to play the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 6. OK, well...Maybe Cincinnati isn't exactly on the East Coast but the Bengals still play in Eastern time so there's a time difference. Plus, Cincinnati is coming off their best performance of 2023 and might have corrected their ship.
On this week's podcast, we discuss what might give us concerns this coming Sunday. I mean that to be football related and not like, "Oh, I can't go to the bathroom" kind of concerns. That would be weird.
But can the Seahawks go into Cincinnati and defeat a Bengals team that has been very successful over the last two years but seemed to be struggling through their first four games? Have Cincinnati quarterback Joe Burrow and friends fixed whatever their issues were and set them back on course to make a deep postseason run in 2023?
Seattle Seahawks podcast: Previewing Week 6
For the Seahawks, let's hope that's not true. We also need to hope that the Week 4 version of the Seattle defense - the team got 11 sacks against the New York Giants - is the real defense instead of what 12s saw from the team in Week 1, especially. Seattle has good talent, but they just need to make sure the pieces fit together.
On this podcast, we also discuss who our five favorite coaches (no matter the sport) are. There very likely could be a certain Seattle Seahawks coach that makes the list. And no, I don't mean Jim Mora.
