Which jerseys are the Seahawks wearing today versus the Giants?
By Lee Vowell
The Seattle Seahawks and New York Giants will have met three times in two seasons by the time Sunday's Week 5 game is done. Seattle won both, and neither game was particularly close. Last season was a bit of a coming-out party for then-rookie cornerback Devon Witherspoon who had two sacks and a 97-yard interception return for a touchdown in the game.
Witherspoon was wearing a different jersey in that game, though. That is because Seattle was wearing their all-white road uniforms. Since Seattle is the home team in Week 5, the team gets to showcase their regular home jerseys.
A positive part heading into the game is that the Seahawks' health on defense is much better than it was in Week 5. Only Byron Murphy II has been ruled out for Sunday, though with a short week for Seattle - the Seahawks play the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday Night Football in Week 6 - the team might choose to rest some players dealing with injury.
What jerseys are the Seahawks wearing versus the Giants in Week 5?
So what will Seattle be wearing versus New York? I am glad you asked. The team will be sporting their all-navy home uniforms with the action green numbers. In Week 6, however, Seattle will be wearing their throwback uniforms against the 49ers.
The Giants will be wearing their wearing their all-white away uniforms with blue numbers.
How to purchase today’s jersey
Official Team Store
If you want to buy the jersey that the Seahawks will be wearing against the Giants, that is a fairly easy thing to do. You can visit the Seahawks Pro Shop online and order one or 20 (Christmas is right around the corner, and, surely, you know a 12 who wants a new jersey). There you will find all kinds of different jerseys and likely one of their favorite players.
Online Retailers
To play it safe, as there are a multitude of knock-off retailers, Seahawks fans can also shop for jerseys at the online NFL Shop and Fantatics.com. Both are certified retailers, so you know what you will be purchasing will be the real deal. There are, sadly, lots of scammers on the interwebs, so shop at a place you know you are getting what you pay for.
