The Seattle Seahawks take on the New York Giants on Sunday at Lumen Field. New York will be missing its best offensive player, Malik Nabers, but Seattle is getting a bit healthier defensively. Seattle needs to win this game.

One of the keys will be keeping the interior pressure from the Giants' defensive line away from Geno Smith. If Smith has time to throw, he should be able to pick apart the Giants' secondary. Again, if he has time to throw.

One spot to watch for 12s is right guard. Anthony Bradford could potentially lose reps to rookie Christian Haynes, who played decently in Week 4. If Haynes protects Smith better in Week 5, he should be the starter in Week 6.

Seahawks vs. Giants announcers for Week 5

Seattle versus New York will be held on CBS, which is KIRO-TV channel 7 in the Seattle area. In New York, 12s can watch on WCBS, which is channel 2. The announcers for the game will be Andrew Catalon on play-by-play with Tiki Barber and Jason McCourty doing analysis and AJ Ross reporting from the sidelines.

Unless you live in the greater New York area or the Pacific Northwest, you are probably going to have to have a subscription to the NFL Sunday Ticket to watch the game. Most of the country will see the Green Bay Packers versus the Los Angeles Rams. That is where Jim Nantz and Tony Romo will be.

Seahawks vs. Giants head referee for Week 5

The official for the Seahawks and Giants will be Shawn Smith. Smith has been in the league since 2015 and spent his first three years as an umpire. He has been a referee since 2018. Since that year, Smith has called nine Seattle games. That is a lot so the players should be familair with him.

One thing is likely for certain. The officiating cannot be any worse than it was in Week 4 when Seattle played Detroit and the Seahawks got robbed on a 2-point conversion and a clear pass interference call when the Lions defensive back literally tackled DK Metcalf in the end zone before he had a chance to catch the ball. The call was not made.
