The Seattle Seahawks' winning streak came to a surprising end in Week 3. Facing a Jayden Daniels-less Washington Commanders, the defending Super Bowl champions shot themselves in the foot multiple times.

Now, they'll face a desperate Los Angeles Chargers team that knows that another loss might end their season early. They're more talented than one might tell by their record, so Mike Macdonald's team can't rest on their laurels in this one.

While it's too early to worry about this team's minor flaws, they haven't been perfect. Considering that, let's take a look at the three biggest questions they must answer to bounce back in this matchup.

3 big questions the Seattle Seahawks must address in Week 4 vs. Chargers

Will the pass-rush step up?

The Seahawks have the fanciest, most exotic pass-rushing unit in the game, but so far, the production hasn't been there. Of course, they've still kept the quarterback on his toes, but the sack production has been rather underwhelming.

Through three games, only Derick Hall (two) and Leonard Williams (three) have registered multiple sacks, and just four Seahawks have gotten to the quarterback. The Chargers' line has been pretty atrocious in recent years, so this should be one of the keys to the game.

Can Jadarian Price take care of the football?

Losing the ball twice in three career games is far from ideal for rookie Jadarian Price. He has fumbled the ball once every 14 carries, which would translate to at least one fumble lost per game if he were the team's lead ball-carrier.

Maybe a brief stint in Mike Macdonald's doghouse was just what he needed to get his act together, though this is a concern that also hurt him in college. The Seahawks' running game has gotten off to a shaky start this season, and being able to trust their first-round pick should help fix it.

Is Sam Darnold back to great form?

Sam Darnold deserves some slack. Last week's game was his first actual taste of NFL action since the Super Bowl, so, understandably, he was a bit rusty. He also made some decisions that reminded us of the New York Jets Sam Darnold, including the pick-six that put the game out of reach.

At least, he looked healthy, and there's no reason to believe he won't get back on track in this one. That said, the Chargers have two strong outside cornerbacks, so he may want to play it a bit more safely in this one.

All things considered, the Seahawks are the better team, and they haven't lost consecutive games under Coach Macdonald since dropping three in a row in 2024. It may not be as easy as oddsmakers believe, but they should still like their chances.
