The Seattle Seahawks have so far been big winners during the 2025-26 NFL season. Through Week 16, Seattle is 12-3 and atop the NFC standings. The next two games won't be easy, but the team controls its own path to being the No. 1 seed in the playoffs.

The coaches and a bunch of players are the reason for the high-level success, of course, but not every good Seahawks player was named to the Pro Bowl games. The hope is that none get to attend as they are preparing for the Super Bowl.

Among the group of Pro Bowlers is quarterback Sam Darnold, wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba, wide receiver/returner Rashid Shaheed, edge rusher DeMarcus Lawrence, defensive lineman Leonard Williams, and cornerback Devon Witherspoon.

Darnold continues his redemption tour after most teams had given up on him before the 2024 season. Instead, he was excellent for the Minnesota Vikings and made the Pro Bowl. He didn't drop in form at all, and is in the Pro Bowl for his second straight time, and second overall.

Witherspoon is in his third season in the NFL after being the fifth overall draft pick in 2023, and he will be involved in his third straight Pro Bowl. His outgoing and vibrant personality makes him a popular player, of course, and that helps, but he deserves to make the Pro Bowl, too, because he is a menace on the field and an extreme disruptor.

Smith-Njigba leads the NFL in receiving yards through Week 16 and will be in his second straight Pro Bowl games. As long as he stays healthy, he might make being involved in the Pro Bowl an annual event for the foreseeable future.

Shaheed made the Pro Bowl as a returner, the second time he has done so in his career. Lawrence is in his first season with the Seahawks, but his appearance will be his fifth overall at the Pro Bowl. Williams has made his third Pro Bowl, but his second straight for the Seattle Seahawks.

The one Seattle player who likely should have been selected but wasn't is defensive tackle Byron Murphy II. He is tied, with Leonard Williams, for most sacks (7) among defensive tackles in the NFL. His absence is further proof that much of the Pro Bowl selection is simply a popularity contest.
