The Seattle Seahawks are heading back to the Super Bowl for the first time since the 2014 season, and they did so with relative ease. The team not only one the NFC West, but clinched the No. 1 seed in the conference. Not only that, but they ran through their division rivals in the playoffs. They defeated the San Francisco 49ers 41-6 in the Divisional Round, and survived a comeback attempt by Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams to pick up the 31-27 NFC Championship Game win.

The Seahawks, especially since late in the season, looked like the most complete team in the NFL. They can put up points on offense with ease while the defense can put countless pressure on their opponents. That's why they are Super Bowl favorites.

During Super Bowl 60 Media Night on Monday, Patriots cornerback Marcus Jones was asked to describe the Seahawks in one word. Jones didn't hesitate, and heaped huge praise on the Seahawks. That word, was "dominant."

Marcus Jones praises 'dominant' Seahawks during Super Bowl 60 Media Night

Jones using the word "dominant" to describe the Seahawks is huge. It shows that the Patriots are not going to take the Seahawks lightly this Sunday, as they shouldn't.

During the regular season, the Seahawks offense averaged 351.4 yards (seventh in NFL) and 28.4 points (third in NFL) per game. On defense, they allowed an average of 285.6 yards (sixth in NFL) and 17.2 points (first in NFL) per game. Those are dominant numbers for the Seahawks on both sides of the line of scrimmage through the regular season.

In these playoffs, the Seahawks offense averaged 338.5 yards (sixth-most in NFL) and 36.0 points (most in NFL) per game. On defense, Seattle gave up an average of 357.5 yards (seventh among playoff teams) and 16.5 points (third-fewest) per game.

The Seahawks will have their work cut out for them as well, especially when it comes to the Patriots defense. These playoffs alone, the Patriots have allowed just 8.7 points and 209.7 yards of offense per game, both of which are the fewest among all playoff teams. Sure, their opponents weren't exactly as dominant as the likes of the 49ers or Rams, but those numbers are still legitimately good. It will be interesting to see how quarterback Sam Darnold and offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak plan to attack New England's defense, which can force turnovers with ease.

We'll see which team ends up being "dominant" on Sunday, Feb. 8, but Jones made sure to give his props to the Seahawks less than a week before the big game.
