Even though they were down several key guys on both sides of the field, the Seattle Seahawks looked like the dominant outfit that won the Super Bowl last season. Finally, they took control of the game in every aspect.

The Seahawks ran a well-balanced offense; Sam Darnold didn't put the ball in harm's way too often, and the defense was its usual suffocating self. They played an almost perfect game against a formerly undefeated team, taking them down 20-3.

The defending champions desperately needed this win, and it might be the momentum-shifting break they've been waiting for. Notably, much of that was due to these four players and their stellar performances.

4 Seattle Seahawks players who stood out in Week 7 against the Chiefs

Leonard Williams

Leonard Williams continues to establish himself as one of the most dynamic defensive linemen in the game. Usually known for his pass-rushing prowess, he played a huge role in giving Kenneth Walker III his worst performance and lowest rushing total of the season.

Williams logged three run stops and had four total tackles (three solo). He was also on Patrick Mahomes' toes all night, batting one of his passes and hitting him once. He was a one-man show in the trenches.

Emanuel Wilson

With Zach Charbonnet and Jadarian Price inching closer to their respective returns from injury, Emanuel Wilson continues to make a strong case to keep a role when the running back corps is back to full strength.

The former Green Bay Packers backup was the lone bright spot in the backfield, turning 24 carries into 100 yards and a touchdown (4.2 yards per carry). He broke loose for a 21-yard score in the second half to put the game out of reach.

Nick Emmanwori

Nick Emmanwori is the best safety in the league, and it's not even close at this point. He flies to the ball in coverage, erases the run game as soon as he gets close to the ball carrier, and has even become a pass rusher now.

He missed a couple of tackles in this one, but he made up for it with four total tackles (two solo), one quarterback hit, and gave up just two receptions on seven targets for 26 yards, causing two drops with his aggressiveness and quickness.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba

What can anyone say about Jaxon Smith-Njigba that hasn't already been said? He's the best pass catcher in the National Football League, and while it would be better to have a more balanced offense and not depend on him that much, he's just a machine.

Once again, Smith-Njigba made Darnold look good, even when the throws weren't on time or were a bit off. He finished the game with nine catches on 12 targets for 150 yards and a touchdown, more than half of Darnold's offensive production.
