The November 10 trade deadline looms large, but the Seattle Seahawks didn't want to wait that long. They already broke the market with a blockbuster deal for All-Pro left guard Quenton Nelson, but they might not be done yet.

The defending Super Bowl champions just had their best performance of the season, and Nelson's addition should elevate this offense to new heights. Fortunately, they still have draft capital and money to add even more firepower.

With multiple teams already thinking about draft positioning and likely punting on the season, there should be plenty of options to consider. With that in mind, let's take a look at five players who should be on their radar.

  1. 5. Donte Jackson, CB, Chargers
  2. 4. Yaya Diaby, DE, Buccaneers
  3. 3. Brian Thomas Jr., WR, Jaguars
  4. 2. Riq Woolen, CB, Eagles
  5. 1. Sauce Gardner, CB Colts

5. Donte Jackson, CB, Chargers

The Los Angeles Chargers are 0-6 and unlikely to win many games this season. They've been the most disappointing team in the league, but they still have plenty of talent on expiring deals to at least secure more draft capital for 2027 and 2028.

Donte Jackson is a ball-hawk cornerback, and he's always been a steady contributor against the run. While he's not the biggest guy out there, he's the type of dynamic playmaker who'd be a natural fit for Mike Macdonald's 'Dark Side' defense.

4. Yaya Diaby, DE, Buccaneers

The Seahawks' pass-rushing unit is still elite, but they might be severely undermanned after this season. Uchenna Nwosu is playing his way out of Seattle's price range, Dante Fowler Jr. hasn't panned out, and DeMarcus Lawrence will retire.

With the Chicago Bears all over Khalil Mack and Josh Sweat also being a bit too pricey, the Seahawks would be wise to pivot to Yaya Diaby. He's in the final year of his rookie contract and has shown enough promise to be worth a flier.

3. Brian Thomas Jr., WR, Jaguars

The Seahawks are just too dependent on Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and that's not sustainable. Cooper Kupp can only give them so much at this point in his career, and Rashid Shaheed hasn't lived up to his big contract yet. That's where Brian Thomas Jr. can be helpful.

It feels like the Jacksonville Jaguars have given up on their former first-round pick. He's a gamble, but after watching him light the league on fire as a rookie, and given his youth, he's the type of high risk/high-reward pickup that could change this offense.

2. Riq Woolen, CB, Eagles

Josh Jobe has been fairly disappointing over the first seven weeks of the season, and the fact that this team signed Terrion Arnold and Trevon Diggs proved that they weren't fully sold on him. So, why not bring back a familiar face?

Riq Woolen fell from grace and lost his starting spot in Seattle, but he's familiar with the system and the organization. The Philadelphia Eagles aren't going anywhere, and they'd certainly appreciate any sort of financial relief.

1. Sauce Gardner, CB Colts

The Seahawks already got on the phone with Indianapolis to acquire Quenton Nelson, so why not make it 2-for1? Sauce Gardner hasn't lived up to the hype with the Colts, but he'd fit like a glove in the league's most dynamic secondary.

While injuries are a bit of a concern, Gardner was one of the top shutdown corners in the game not so long ago. The Colts should be desperate for draft capital, and while they won't get a first-rounder for Gardner, letting him go might be the best way to kick off the post-Chris Ballad era.
