Consistency is the name of the game for Coleman. His compact frame and above-average vision make him one of the more reliable backs in this class, especially in short-yardage situations. He has enough elusiveness to create explosive runs on occasion.

Wasn't asked to do much in pass protection at Washington.
Limited usage as a receiver.

Similarly, Coleman can win over a coaching staff with his consistency. While he's not the most explosive runner, he will carve out a significant role in the league as an early-down back.

He may not have the highlight-worthy explosive runs to lure teams in, but he can comfortably take 15 carries per game and be a productive back.
