The offensive candidates — well, not candidates, they're almost certainly solidified — that the Seattle Seahawks have in-house for Pro Bowl nods are Sam Darnold and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. If the Seahawks bow out of the playoffs before the Super Bowl, you can expect these two to play in California in early February.

That's the offense, though, and as well as Seattle's offense has played this year, it's been the defense that has carried the team every week. Therefore, it's only right that the defense has several players eligible for Pro Bowl honors.

In this week's NFL polling numbers for its 2026 Pro Bowl showcase, the Seahawks have 15 players ranked in the top 10 at their respective positions. On defense, the players who will be made eligible to vote for are no surprise, including a two-time Pro Bowler already, Leonard Williams.

Seahawks have four key defensive players who all deserve Pro Bowl selections

Leonard Williams, DT (No. 8)

Williams is in his 13th NFL season, and his third in Seattle. He spent the first 10 years in New York, split between both the Jets and the Giants. However, in his three years with Seattle, he has never played on a defense like this year's. The 2025 version of the Seahawks defense is something else altogether, and Williams has been integral to their dominance all season.

His impact and numbers surely deserve a Pro Bowl nod. To date, Williams has 47 total tackles (21 assisted) and seven sacks. Williams, like a few other veteran Seahawks sharing his jersey, has acclimated well alongside some of Seattle's younger members of the defense, and it's paid off exceptionally well so far.

DeMarcus Lawrence, DE (No. 10)

DeMarcus Lawrence was a question mark coming into the season, only because the Dallas Cowboys curiously didn't re-sign him. Seattle decided to pounce on Lawrence, and boy, it's working out rather well for both parties. Remember Lawrence's two-touchdown masterpiece against the Arizona Cardinals a month ago? That was something.

Lawrence is on pace for his fifth Pro Bowl if he were to be voted in this year, and while his numbers aren't All-Pro worthy, if he gets another Pro-Bowl nod, it will be because of his impact on one of the NFL's leading defenses.

Coby Bryant, FS (No. 6)

Coby Bryant had his breakout NFL season last year in 2024. The fourth-year free safety had 73 tackles with three interceptions. This season, Bryant has already equaled his INT mark and tallied 53 tackles so far. With five games remaining on the Seahawks' schedule, there's more than enough time for Bryang to raise those numbers even more, and possibly surpass last year's INT mark.

Bryant has never made the Pro Bowl in his career yet, so if voted in, he would get his first crack at the once well-respected getaway. Of course, Bryant, along with the rest of his team, is hoping they won't have time for the Pro Bowl spotlight because they'll be playing in a much more important game the following Sunday.

Byron Murphy II, DT (No. 2)

Byron Murphy II is a monster, and that's why he constantly draws the double team at the line. Furthermore, he and his defensive tackle partner, Williams, have to be at the top of the league in DT tandems — they're elite, and there's no argument against that. It's also why Murphy is another Seahawks Pro Bowl hopeful, and his seven sacks on the year (tied with Williams) certainly help.

Like Bryant last year, Murphy is having his breakout season this year and will be looking for his first Pro Bowl appearance. He's already surpassed his tackles total from last season, and sacks, of course (he had a half sack last season). If any second-year player has made enough noise to get his first Pro Bowl selection, Murphy has to be one of them.
