The Seattle Seahawks were without their starting quarterback and lost their starting running back in Week 2. Even so, they manhandled the Arizona Cardinals with a statement 31-7 road win to keep their winning streak alive.

While this was a game they were always supposed to win, injuries could've made this a bit of a trap game for Mike Macdonald's team. Once again, they proved that they don't look past any opponent, and their defense might actually be the best in football.

It was a well-rounded effort for the Seahawks, with Jaxon Smith-Njigba reaffirming his place as the best offensive weapon in football, hauling in 155 receiving yards and three scores. But since we're so used to praising him and there's not much more to say, let's talk about everyone else who stood out in this contest.

3 Seattle Seahawks who starred in Week 2 versus the Cardinals

Leonard Williams

Leonard Williams deserves more money than he's getting paid, which is a lot to say. He's become the Seahawks' defensive anchor, a disruptive presence in the interior with a knack for turning potential big gains into busted plays, and he did that over and over on Sunday, especially on third down.

He finished the game with six total tackles (four solo), one sack, and two tackles for loss, forcing the Cardinals to punt twice in the first half alone. He may not get much credit because of his position, but he might be the best defensive tackle in football right now.

Emanuel Wilson

Due to unfortunate circumstances, the Seahawks were pretty much forced to roll with Emanuel Wilson, and he rose to the occasion. With Jadarian Price leaving with a chest injury, Wilson's strong play made it tough for George Holani to get on the field.

The former Green Bay Packers backup running back turned 21 totes into 92 yards, averaging 4.4 yards per carry. He's never been much of a pass catcher, and Holani should continue to get the bulk of the passing-down role, but if Price has to miss time, which sounds unlikely, they might roll with Wilson's hot hand.

Drew Lock

No Sam Darnold? No problem. Drew Lock hasn't always been known for his efficiency and decision-making, but he looks much more mature, poised, and in control of the offense nowadays. He's not putting the ball in harm's way, and while he's trying to stretch the field with shots downfield, he's playing with intent and purpose, not just trying to make something happen.

Granted, having the best wide receiver in the game also helps, but let's not pretend that Lock didn't have a lot to do with the offense staying ahead of the sticks. OC Brian Fleury trusted him with an open playbook, and he made play after play. Darnold might be back next week, and Lock has done an amazing job of keeping the ship afloat.
