The Seattle Seahawks are flying high after Week 13, where they shut out the Minnesota Vikings and moved to 9-3 on the year. Also going in the Seahawks' favor this weekend was the Los Angeles Rams losing to the Panthers, dropping them to 9-3 as well. The Rams hold the tiebreaker and therefore the lead in the NFC West, but with five games remaining, anything is possible.
It might be crazy to think back to a time when the Seahawks weren't taken seriously, but luckily, we're not living in that timeline anymore. People are not only taking this team seriously but think that they have a legitimate chance to win their first Lombardi Trophy in over a decade, as the Seahawks officially have the second-best odds to win Super Bowl 60 in February.
The latest odds to win Super Bowl 60 have the Seahawks at +750 to win the Super Bowl, which is second-best behind, unfortunately, the Rams, who are sitting at +450. It is frustrating that the year the Seahawks are playing out of their mind is the same year that the division is crazy difficult, but this will only better prepare Seattle for the playoffs because it's playing postseason-caliber teams during the regular season.
Seahawks given second-best odds to win Super Bowl 60 after dominant Week 13 outing
The key from here is for the Seahawks to fight like hell to win their division so they can reap the benefits of being the number one seed in the NFC, or at least getting to host a playoff game. Sam Darnold faced a similar situation last year in Minnesota, ultimately losing the division to Detroit and having to go on the road in the playoffs, where the Vikings got bounced by the Rams.
The Seahawks close the year out against the Falcons, Colts, Rams, Panthers, and 49ers, while the Rams finish their 2025 season against the Cardinals twice, Lions, Seahawks, and Falcons, so there's some overlap there. The Rams do appear to have an "easier" schedule to close out the year, which doesn't bode well for Seattle.
For those wondering, behind the Seahawks in Super Bowl odds are the Packers and Bills at +950, the Eagles and Broncos at +1000, and the Patriots at +1100. Should be a fun finish!
