Ever the kings of eye-catching uniforms in the NFL, the Seattle Seahawks are a leading franchise in the NFL and Nike’s new venture into rivalry uniforms, which are set to debut later this year.
On Friday, NFL teams in the NFC West and AFC East dropped teaser videos on their social media handles to hype up the new threads. Each video ended with a quick glimpse at an altered logo, with the Seahawks logo keeping its gray outlines and swapping the blues for the lime green accent.
The Seahawks are set to wear the new uniforms in their Week 16 Thursday night matchup with the Los Angeles Rams. The Seahawks will also see the Cardinals’ rivalry uniforms in Week 4, the Rams in Week 11, and the 49ers in Week 18. The rivalry uniforms will be unveiled on August 28.
The Seahawks' Rivalry uniforms are sure to be loud, and most likely green
So far, there hasn’t been any indication of just how altered these uniforms will be, though they’re certain to be eye-catching. Seahawks receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba got a sneak peek at them and called them “beautiful." It’s worth noting in the video that the color green is reflected on the receiver’s face.

Smith-Njigba pointing out the helmet, indicates that the entire uniform will be unique from head to toe. Beyond his impression, the green hue reflected on his face, the video playing into the decibel levels at Lumen Field, and the hints around the altered logo, fans can expect this uniform to be green and loud.
According to the promotional page on the team’s official website, these uniforms will serve “as the most competitive, authentic expression of community pride.” It’s safe to say those tiny details featured in many of the NFL’s jersey changes over the years will be present.
The NFL will continue to release these uniforms over the next four seasons. Next year, the AFC South and NFC North will get their turn, in 2027 the AFC West and NFC East will get new threads, and finally the AFC North and NFC South will be featured in 2028.

The Seahawks have already announced they will wear their '90s-inspired Royal Blue and Apple Green throwback uniforms in Week 5 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who will also be wearing their 1976 creamsicle uniforms.
There’s no word on if or when the Seahawks will wear their Action Green color rush uniforms this season. If the rivalry uniforms are primarily green, it’s possible Seattle won’t wear the uniform for the first time in seven seasons. Regardless, the team is set to sport a few different looks throughout the upcoming campaign.
