These 3 teams could crush the Seattle Seahawks' repeat hopes

Not including the Rams, making the path even more challenging.

The Seattle Seahawks are built for another deep playoff run, and despite the Los Angeles Rams being favored by many in the NFL media, the Seahawks are also built to make another Super Bowl appearance and win.

The argument for the Rams is valid, and their expectation is Super Bowl or bust, given the high-profile trades they made this summer. The NFC West should be no cakewalk for the Seahawks, just like it wasn't last year. All three of the Seahawks, the Rams, and the San Francisco 49ers are playoff-contending teams.

That said, the Rams pose the biggest division threat to the Seahawks, but what about outside the division? There are a handful of playoff-contending opponents on Seattle's schedule next season, but three NFC teams could pose real threats to the Seahawks as they chase a repeat conference championship.

These 3 teams could challenge the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC

Dallas Cowboys

These days, the Dallas Cowboys are more famous for having 12-win seasons and zero playoff wins. Brian Schottenheimer surprisingly did a great job in his first season as the Cowboys' head coach last year, and despite not making the playoffs, the Cowboys looked better than they have in years if you view their season from the right perspective.

The Cowboys have a great shot at being a top team in the NFC next season, given the uncertainties involving their division rivals. If Schottenheimer can follow up a solid head coaching debut season with another, or better, America's team could realistically challenge for the NFC alongside the Seahawks.

Chicago Bears

Ben Johnson's first year as a head coach was a success, winning the division and making the playoffs in Caleb Williams' best year yet at quarterback. The Chicago Bears are expected to win their division again next season, and as long as Williams continues to progress, the Bears will be dangerous to any NFC team, not just the Seahawks.

Chicago gave the Rams a true playoff test last year and could have come out on top in overtime, so they've proven they can go toe-to-toe with the top-tier teams in the NFL. The Seahawks will see the Bears next season up close and personal, which ups the ante on two teams vying for NFC bragging rights.

Philadelphia Eagles

The uncertainties around the Philadelphia Eagles are possibly louder than they have been since the Nick Sirianni and Jalen Hurts era began. That's saying something, because it seems that every year since this era began, there has been noise. Yet, the Eagles have gone to two Super Bowls and won one.

Things will be different next season compared to last, with no A.J. Brown, and the pressure on Hurts will be the heaviest he's experienced in his NFL career. On top of that, Sirianni's job security could be in jeopardy.

That said, the Eagles remain a solid team, with an excellent defense. Philly may not dominate next year, but they, like their division rivals, the Cowboys, have every chance at challenging for the NFC, and a late-season test against the Seahawks will have playoff implications in play.
