With a tough final slate for their remaining schedule, the Seahawks are in playoff mode every week. We know this is true because Geno Smith said so himself. “When guys are saying ‘We’re in playoff mode,’ that’s every, single week,” quarterback Geno Smith said, per The News Tribune. I prefer Ernest Jones's quote, “For us, we’ve been living in, we call it, the ‘death zone.’ We’ve been living in that for the last four games. Each game is a playoff game in our eyes. We’ve been in the playoff four or five weeks now.”
I'm pretty sure the term originated with Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald. First, we know it originated with a coach. Second, Macdonald is a smart guy, and he probably considered the possibility of a cease and desist letter from Stephen King had he used the term "dead zone". So while this is a huge game for the Hawks, what we're concerned with now is: what jersey will they wear?

That's right, 12s, your favorite team and mine - well, my second favorite, behind Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Wolverine. Which I don't think ever happened, but a kid can dream. The Seahawks would fit right in with that team in their Action Green unis. You know, that gives me an idea - but let's get to the business at hand, shall we?
Seattle is going full bright, neon, divisive Action Green, jerseys and pants for this one. This is only the eight time the Hawks are going full glowstick since the gear debuted in 2016. I love the color, although I agree with several 12s, in that I prefer the green jerseys with College Navy pants. Still, our guys are 5-2 in the gear, and that's a solid record, especially as they only wear it for primetime games.

Just a heads up - if you're shopping at the physical store at either Lumen Field or The Landing, they're running some big in-store discounts beginning next Monday the 16th. I love shopping in person. Um, yeah.
