Who are the announcers and referees for Seahawks vs. Falcons in Week 7?
By Lee Vowell
The Seattle Seahawks have lost three straight games heading into their Week 7 matchup versus the Atlanta Falcons. Atlanta has won three straight games. That might imply the Falcons are going to win on Sunday, but the NFL can be a funny business.
Seattle is going to be struggling with injuries in the secondary. Cornerbacks Riq Woolen and Tre Brown will miss the game. Safety Rayshawn Jenkins and cornerback Artie Burns were placed on injured reserve this week. That means Seattle is going to be playing a lot of backups.
To win, the Seahawks offense might simply have to try to outscore the Falcons. Atlanta is 19th in quarterback rating allowed while Seattle is 24th. The Falcons are 12th in yards allowed per rush, however. This might mean Geno Smith will have to play almost perfectly for Seattle to have a chance of winning.
Seahawks vs. Falcons announcers for Week 7
The game will be broadcast on FOX. That is FOX 13 in Seattle and FOX 5 in Atlanta. The game is scheduled to kick off at 10 am PT (1 pm ET for those 12s going to the game). Most of the United States won't get to see the game unless you live in the greater Seattle or Atlanta areas. This means you will need the NFL Sunday Ticket in most parts of the country to view the contest.
The announcers will be Kenny Albert (play-by-play), Jonathan Vilma (analysis), and Megan Olivi (sideline reporter). That is a good crew so 12s won't have to listen to a lot of blather.
Seahawks vs. Falcons head referee for Week 7
The head official for Seattle versus Atlanta is Bill Vinovich. Vinovich has worked in the NFL as a referee for a long time. And I mean, a long time. He began in 2021 as a sideline judge, but then he left from 2007 to 2011 due to a heart issue. He was healthy enough to return in 2012 and has been a stand-out among officials since then.
He has called multiple Super Bowls and is considered one of the better referees in the game. This means the Seahawks versus Falcons should be called fairly, even if lots of penalties are called. Vinovich's crew consists of Scott Walker, Dale Keller, Tripp Sutter, Aaron Santi, Jimmy Buchanan, Todd Prukop, Denise Crudup, and Chad Wakefield.
