5 End of the Regular Season Questions for you, the 12th Man

The Seahawks have the luxury of having this weekend off while they prepare for the NFC Divisional round next week.

Since the regular season is officially over, it’s time to reflect on what went right and what went wrong this season. Luckily for the Seahawks, very little went wrong as they put themselves in the best position to make it to the Super Bowl.

However, that path may get complicated by outside factors. Here are a few questions regarding your opinion on the 2013 regular and postseason.

Is the Seahawks 13-3 record one they should be proud of? Or should they have had more wins this year?

Even though the Seahawks aren’t playing this weekend, there are still plenty of good games to watch and the outcomes will determine who Seattle will host next week.

And, hopefully, the week after that, too.

Seahawks have a very good defense this year, but they lack any tangible offensive threat to match the other playoff teams in this league. Since about 1979, all the rule changes have been made in order to favor the offensive side of the ball, and any spectator can see this in the way the NFL officiates it’s games every weekend. For all the good things that Russell Wilson has done, the team is still ranked 26th out of 32 teams in passing this season. Some MVP. Perhaps a good sports writer would question the wasted draft picks spent on the team’s questionable offensive line, which is ranked 23rd out of 32 teams this year. Sigh!

Seahawks need to address the offensive line. Tom Cable has had 3 years now to get them going and it’s still our weakest link.
