Following the excitement of Russell Wilson participating in the Texas Rangers spring training on Monday, many sports fans are dying to know if the Seattle Seahawks quarterback has any desire to become a two-sport athlete. Even though Wilson didn’t take any at-bats and is primarily in Arizona to fulfill a mentoring role with the Rangers, he didn’t seem to rule out the possibility of an MLB career.

“You never say never,” Wilson was quoted as saying when it came to the prospect of him pursuing a baseball career. And with his well known work ethic it wouldn’t be surprising at all to see him take the diamond if he wants to at some point.

But before Seahawks fans get too worried, it is important to mention that Russell Wilson appears to have his primary focus still on the Seattle Seahawks. If there is any position that requires an athlete to commit completely its the quarterback position and Russell Wilson knows that more than anybody.

It would be interesting to see the next Bo Jackson or Deion Sanders be a Seahawk though so, let’s see what happens.
