The Seahawks are reportedly interested in bringing former Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt to Seattle, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Britt has been in the league for five years and has spent all of them in Tennessee. Injuries limited Britt to 12 games last season, where he caught 11 passes for 96 yards and no touchdowns, all career-lows. He also started a career-low three games.

In 2010, Britt had a career-high 775 reception yards and nine touchdowns.

But since then, Britt has been plagued by off-field issues, including being arrested twice in 2011 and again in 2012. NJ.com’ Charles Curtis went into more detail.

When he stays out of trouble, Britt has shown that he can be productive on the field, and a fresh start with a new team may be just what he needs.

There is no word yet on exactly when he is expected to visit with Seattle, but he will reportedly visit the Carolina Panthers and Washington Redskins first.

He left New England on Monday without a contract.
