Sidney Rice is returning to Seattle to play another year as a member of the Seahawks, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Rice also posted a tweet on Wednesday, showing his excitement to rejoin the defending Super Bowl champions.

Last season, Rice caught 15 passes for 231 yards and three touchdowns before tearing his ACL in October, ending his season.

After being medically cleared to play earlier this week, Rice garnered interest from a few different teams before ultimately deciding to re-sign with the Seahawks.

Pro Football Talk reported that the deal is for one year but the specific amount of money is not yet known.
