Seahawks Mini-Camp: Kevin Williams Ready for Limited Snaps, Maximum Output

Kevin Williams thinks he and the Seattle Seahawks are a perfect fit. Not only did he take less money than what other teams were offering him to come be with the world champs, but he also seems to feel as if he can be more productive because the work load will be lighter. This is what he had to say after his first mini camp practice in the Northwest:

"I was looking at some stats about a month ago, I had like 700 snaps last year and nobody on this defense even came… nobody even touched 650 I think. So I think it’s an awesome chance to get in an play a limited number of snaps and maximize the ability I have."

The Hawks under Pete Carroll are known for bringing in some very intriguing talent on the D-line and turning it into something special. This is certainly not that type of situation as the former Vikings DT is definitely a proven commodity.

A six-time Pro Bowler, if Williams even comes close to producing like he has in the past he changes the game for Seattle yet again. The Seahawks could use some of that younger Williams, especially for his run defense after losing Red Bryant and Clinton McDonald to free agency.

We can’t wait to watch Kevin Williams try and turn back the clock with the defending Super Bowl champs.
