The Seattle Seahawks will take on the Green Bay Packers tonight on Sunday Night Football. If you listen to the analysts, you’ll notice that most of them don’t think that the Seahawks have a shot to win this game.

Only 1 out of 8 writes at CBS picked the Seahawks to win. It is worse at ESPN, where only 1 out of 14 picked Seattle to win. SI thinks Seattle will lose by more than in any game since 2011.

But that doesn’t mean that the Seahawks don’t have a shot to win this game. In fact, there are a lot of reasons for 12s to be optimistic as the team heads into Lambeau. Here are just 5 of the reasons why Seahawks fans should not be preparing for the worst tonight:

RT Bulaga won’t play

Green Bay right tackle Brian Bulaga injured his knee in practice on Thursday. While it turned out not to be an ACL injury as many feared, the strained MCL he suffered will cause him to miss at least four games after having surgery.

The Packers gave Bulaga a big contract this offseason in part because they don’t have much faith in his backup. Don Barclay is coming off an ACL injury a year ago, and is better suited to play on the inside at guard.

This is obviously good news for Seattle’s pass rushers. Michael Bennett and Cassius Marsh are the two that’ll benefit the most by having a backup right tack in there.

If the Seahawks can constantly generate pressure on Rodgers without having to blitz, they’ll be able to slow down the vaunted Green Bay offense.
