The Seattle Seahawks launched a new website devoted solely to the career of former running back Marshawn Lynch.

Still haven’t come to grips with the reality that Marshawn Lynch’s days wearing #24 in Seahawks blue are over? Seahawks.com just launched an extension to their website that will launch you into Beast Mode heaven.

http://www.seahawks.com/ms/beastmode/seahawks.html is a tasteful homage to the greatest running back in Seattle history. It’s a must-see endeavor for Seahawk fans.

The site is divided into two tabs. One details his career between the white lines, from the very beginning when he was acquired from the Buffalo Bills in a trade that head coach Pete Carroll was pushing hard for. Carroll recounts how he badgered John Schneider to try and get the deal done:

More from 12th Man Rising

“We went after him for a long time, and I just kept bugging John and bugging John,” Carroll said in 2012. “I mean it was eight or nine weeks or something, whenever we got him, we had been on it through the offseason and all of that. John probably called them back 10 times to get this done. … There were a number of times when John would look at me and say ‘Look, I just called them last week,’ and I’d say, ‘Oh, come on, let’s try again. You never know.'”

As you scroll down the page you’ll see a chronological account of Lynch’s impact on the Seahawks as a football player, complete with highlights and my favorite….. a detailed statistical account of his domination vs. the 49ers.

The second tab paints the picture of Marshawn Lynch the person off the field. Everything from his unique approach to interviews, to his obsession with Skittles, the creation of his clothing line and all of his charitable work are detailed.

Next: Are we nearing extensions for Carroll and Schneider?

It’s an amazing look at a player who made as much of an impact on the Seahawks rebuilding years as any, and a fitting tribute as we bid farewell to a future Ring Of Honor member.
