Born and raised in Southern California, I currently live in Phoenix and attend the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. As a Sun Devil, I am pursuing my dream of becoming a sportscaster and would love to broadcast either baseball or football for a professional franchise one day. Though I have never lived near Seattle, I have been a Seahawks fan since my cousin (#99, Matt LaBounty, DE, 1996-2001) played and I have followed the team since his retirement. I also love my Angels baseball team, reading and writing, listening to music, watching movies and talking.
Paul began writing about the Seattle sports scene in 2010 on his own personal blog. After some success, Fansided eventually chose Paul to establish their new Locals site, Emerald City Swagger. After taking some time off to ponder the meaning of life, Paul has realized it's all about the Seattle Seahawks. Go Hawks!
Writing became a part of my life when I was co-owner of a golf web site in Arizona. PuttBuddy.com gave me a large enough audience that a blog was necessary. I looked forward to communicating with our visitors from North America and beyond. So when I had a chance to write about the Seattle Seahawks, it was a no brainer. 12th Man Rising brings the latest news, rumors and updates about the Hawks to the legendary 12s. My contribution consists of opinion pieces backed with facts and sources. Upon reading, share with Facebook and Twitter. Take a little time to comment. I appreciate hearing from my readers. Thanks for reading and, as always, GO HAWKS!
Thomas Oide was born and raised in the small town of Davis, California where he covers local high school sports for the Davis Enterprise. He has never lived in Washington or Seattle, but was born and bred a die-hard USC Trojan fan, so he has profound respect for Seahawk head coach Pete Carroll. Oide also enjoys watching USC Trojan football, Real Madrid, and the Oklahoma City Thunder. When he isn't watching sports, Oide spends time with his family, his piano, and his guitar.
Born in AZ, raised on the greater eastside of Seattle, currently studying Communications and Journalism at Western Washington University, been a 12th Man for as long as I can remember, pursuing a long-term career in sports

I was raised in Seattle and, accordingly, grew up watching the Mariners, Sonics, and Seahawks. I moved to California in 2000, and have since adopted the A's, Kings and, to a limited extent, the Raiders as the teams I also follow. I now live in Sacramento where I have built a wonderful family (wife and two kids).

Zac Snyder got hooked on the Detroit Lions after his dad took him to a Monday Night Football game against the Los Angeles Raiders in 1990. The show put on by Barry Sanders and Bo Jackson that night was only surpassed by what Zac could do with Barry in a game of Tecmo Super Bowl.

From sports, movies and TV to lifestyle and tech, FanSided has you covered.
