Round 2, Pick 32 (64) — Justin Britt, OT, Missouri

Jan 3, 2014; Arlington, TX, USA; Missouri Tigers offensive linesman Justin Britt (68) blocks Oklahoma State Cowboys defensive end Tyler Johnson (40) in the first half of the game at the 2014 Cotton Bowl at AT&T Stadium. The Seahawks needed an offensive tackle badly entering the draft. Britt is not one of the big name lineman that many “experts” heavily touted at the start of the weekend, but right now it looks like he will get the job done just as effectively. I feel that the Seahawks know something that the rest of us don’t (but then again what else is new) because they passed on Morgan Moses among others who might have fit in a little bit better. They also traded out of spots which could have landed Joel Bitonio or Cyrus Kouandjio. Then again, Britt is big, he’s quick and he’s physical, all of which are important for an offensive lineman to succeed in the NFL. Just don’t know if Seattle should have drafted him so early.

Grade: B-
