With the departure of Chris Maragos during the offseason, Seattle entered the draft looking to add just a little depth to the secondary. They do have Jeron Johnson and DeShawn Shead slated to backup Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor, but Pinkins could move over to corner if he doesn’t make the team as a safety. He is a huge player at 6-foot-3 and 220 pounds and a big-hitter, which sort of reminds me of Chancellor. Moving him to corner could work as well — he is about the same size as former L.O.B. member Brandon Browner. Pinkins said that he wants to “earn” his spot in the secondary and he has every chance to. I really like this selection.
