Jeron offers good experience on special teams and is in fact one of the most important and versatile guys for those units. He also offers a somewhat experienced backup option at safety. Injuries are a growing concern, however.

Retention Grade: C+

Free Agent Additions

Adams is a good depth move and roster body, but much like the first time he was in Seattle I don’t see him sticking around for the long haul with the other moves that were made back there this offseason. He does have a little experience though and could be a valuable surprise.

Addition Grade: C-

  • CB A.J. Jefferson – Signed with Seahawks

Jefferson might do nothing, but personally I think he will be out to prove himself as a valuable commodity in this league after his life-issues in Minnesota. To me he’s the fill-in for Thurmond, which means he gets the same addition grade for SEA as Thurmond got a loss grade.

Addition Grade: B-
