As much as we’d like to think so, the Seattle Seahawks are no longer THE top team in the NFL, not until they prove it again anyway.

As we found out last night they were the best team in 2013/2014, which as Russell Wilson so eloquently put it “is truly special”, but that time is over. The Seahawks are now only one of the best teams, that’s why the NFL is such a great league. There are others that will challenge the Hawks for the crown throughout the season.

While Wilson is redefining the modern day quarterback along with some very dynamic NFC colleagues, the position overall is still owned by traditional-style QBs that treat the craft like a magician treats his wand, beautifully. In the AFC three of the very best the game has to offer are the sole reasons their teams are the most capable of knocking the Seahawks off their pedestal at Super Bowl XLIX in Gledale, AZ.
