NFL Draft: Best Seahawks Draft Picks Ever, By Round

Round 1: Walter Jones
Cortez Kennedy deserves a mention here as well. Earl Thomas might as well in a decade when he finally hangs up the cleats. Right now though, Jones is a fairly easy pick.
Selected with the sixth overall pick in 1997 draft, Jones was absolutely dominant at left tackle from day one. He was a nine-time Pro-Bowl selection and was first team All-Pro four times. Jones was as obvious of a Hall of Fame selection as any player we’ll ever see.
Jones gave up only 23 sack and 10 holding penalties in his entire career. Many of those sacks came in his final season when the knee injury that ultimately ended his career robbed him of some of his quickness.
Jones is arguably the greatest left tackle to ever play in the NFL. His face would certainly be included on the Mt. Rushmore of greatest offensive linemen in NFL history.
Honorable Mentions: Cortez Kennedy, Jacob Greene, Earl Thomas
