Round 3: Pick 69 (overall): Tyler Lockett, WR, Kansas State
Seattle wasted no time after taking Frank Clark. They quickly traded up from pick 93 to 69 and selected wide receiver Tyler Lockett from Kansas State.Lockett is a slot receiver with elite punt and kick return skills. He’s also go great speed and agility, invoking T.Y. Hilton comparisons.
He’s also tiny and doesn’t play with any strength. He’ll have difficultly coming off the line vs press coverage, and won’t be able to battle for contested deep balls because his size.
Overall, this is a player that can contribute right away and fills a huge need for the Seahawks on special teams.
