Pick 130: Terry Poole, OT, SDSU

It was a long wait, but the Seahawks finally drafted an offensive linemen. They selected Terry Poole out of San Diego State University.

Poole projects as a guard in the NFL. He lacks the quickness to excel in pass blocking on the outside. At this point, He looks like a guy who can compete for the starting LG job.

He isn’t a bad athlete, but he isn’t the SPARQ standout that the Seahawks typically look for either. He is merely average in that regard.

It is possible that the Seahawks could move Poole to center as well. He actually fits well in that role, and is significantly better athletically than Max Unger was.
