2015 NFL Draft: Seattle Seahawks Draft Pick Tracker
By Keith Myers
Pick 214: Kristjan Sokoli, DE/DT/OG, Buffalo
With their 7th of 8 picks this year, the Seahawks selected a workout warrior in Kristjan Sokoli. The guy personifies “freak athlete.” He’s one of the all-time most explosive guys ever tested in the draft process.
The reason He lasted until the end other 6th round is that he is fairly clueless when it comes to football. He immigrated to the States not all that long ago, and still is learning basics that most player learn in high school.
Interestingly, the Seahawks are converting him from defensive line to offensive guard. That makes this a J.R. Sweezy pick. The kid has to learn football, he might as well learn a new position that he is better suited for.

With the final pick of the 2015 draft, the Seahawks took another local player. This time it was safety Murphy out of Oregon State.
Like many of Seattle’s picks this year, Murphy is one of the best athletes in this draft class. He also as technique issue that must be fixed before he can be an effective NFL player.
But hey, he’s big, fast, and he hits hard. He’ll fit in with Seattle’s secondary, and represents a good backup option for Kam Chancellor.
If Murphy is going to make the roster, t’ll have to be with special teams play. He has the athleticism to be a very good gunner on the outside. We’ll have to see if he can put it together fast enough to make the 53 man roster.
