Seattle Seahawks draft profiles: Every 2015 UDFA
By Keith Myers
Keenan Lambert, SS, Norfolk State
The Seahawk made a late addition to their list of undrafted free agents adding Keenan Lambert out of Norfolk State. This is a significant signing for a number of reasons that don’t necessarily have to do with football.
On the field, Lambert is like many of Seattle’s UDFA this season. He looks the part (5’11” tall and 209 pounds), but he doesn’t move like a Seahawk. He’s a well below average athlete who will be lucky to land on the team’s practice squad.
Lambert is interesting because of who he is related to. His half-brother is none-other than Kam Chancellor. The Seahawks are doing right by one of their core players, and making sure that Kam’s brother gets a shot to become to pro player.
Lambert now has the chance to come in and make the case that he belongs in the NFL. If he can do that, then there’s a good chance another team will pick him when final rosters are set.
