This is actually a really cool story. Boyer is a Green Beret. Football is an afterthought to him compared to serving our country.
He’s 34 years old. Went into the military out of high school and then later went to college when he was already 29.

It’ll be easy to pull for him, but the truth is that the Seahawks have a long snapper whose contract has a lot of guarantees in it. Unless Clint Greshman gets hurt in camp, Boyer will have to hope he can catch on with another team before the season begins.
