Seattle Seahawks draft profiles: Every 2015 UDFA
By Keith Myers
Tory Slater, DT, West Georgia
Slater is undersized for a DT at 290 pounds. He has the frame to put on more weight though, so that might not be a concern down the road.
What Slater is a great athlete for his size and he has an incredibly quick first step. With coaching, he could become a seriously disruptive force on the inside of a defense.
Coaching and time is really what Slater needs. His hand usage almost none existent, and he doesn’t play with proper leverage and pad level.
Slater is a project, but one with the potential to be very good if given enough time.
