Today is reporting day for most NFL teams. Players are arriving, taking physicals and doing conditioning tests. Practices begin tomorrow. That’s right everyone, we’ve survived another offseason. Football is back in Seattle.

To recap the offseason, and to take a look at everything that has transpired since the Super Bowl, I thought it would be fun to release my first NFL power rankings of the season. These are entirely subjective. I cannot run the mathematical ones until at least Week 4 is complete.

35. The Titans took the first step in their rebuilding process this offseason. They’re in for some tough growing pains this year, but better things are ahead for Tennessee. . (0-0). Previous: 31st. Tennessee Titans. 31. team

team. 48. The defense is a complete mess, and the offense will depend on a rookie quarterback. That isn’t a good combination.. (0-0). Previous: 30th. Tampa Bay Bucs. 30

Cleveland Browns. 29. team. 53. McCown is a rare combination of old and awful at quarterback. That Manziel cannot move passed him on the depth chart is really damning.. (0-0). Previous: 29th

Very young team with talent in places. Still a year or two away from contending, and I’m not sold on Carr as an NFL starter.. (0-0). Previous: 28th. Oakland Raiders. 28. team. 28

57. The Bears didn’t get better, and they didn’t move on from Cutler. At least they finally moved on from the Trestman mistake.. (0-0). Previous: 27th. Chicago Bears. 27. team

26. team. 30. The defense should be good, but there’s no reason to believe that Geno Smith and the offense will be good enough to take advantage of it though. . (0-0). Previous: 26th. New York Jets

(0-0). Previous: 25th. New Orleans Saints. 25. team. 15. The Saints are one Drew Brees injury away from a massive rebuild. Brees also isn’t getting any younger, and looked like a lesser version of himself last season.

(0-0). Previous: 24th. St. Louis Rams. 24. team. 51. The Rams have arguably the best defensive line in the NFL. The rest of the roster is nothing special, and their new QB is the very definition of mediocre.

Melvin Gordon should help the offense, but the defense is still an issue and now they won’t have Antonio Gates for 4 games. . (0-0). Previous: 23th. San Diego Charger. 23. team. 13

31. The Giants don’t have much going for them other than Beckham at wide receiver. They’ve even lost JPP because of his fireworks accident.. (0-0). Previous: 22nd. New York Giants. 22. team

52. The Jaguars are filled with a lot of young talent. There is a good chance that it’ll come together and make them a tough team to beat in the second half of the season. . (0-0). Previous: 21st. Jacksonville Jaguars. 21. team
