We need to see more of Rod Smith
I’ve seen what I need to see from Thomas Rawls to know that he isn’t going to push Christine Michael off the roster. Rod Smith, on the other hand, is a guy we haven’t seen enough of to make that call.
Smith had a 19 yard yard early in the fourth quarter that was impressive. He showed off a stiff-arm on that play was almost Marshawn Lynch-esque. Almost.
Smith is an interesting prospect. The problem is that we simply haven’t seen enough of him to this point to know if he is the real deal of just a guy who looks good because of the small sample size.
