Russell Wilson definitely didn’t play well

The pass blocking was poor, but that doesn’t explain all of the offenses struggles. Another issue was simply that Russell Wilson didn’t look like Russell Wilson in this game.

He was off target on a number of throws. This included throwing behind Graham on a crossing route and overthrowing him in the end zone. He also threw the ball at Kearse’s feet in the end zone on another play.

Worse though were some awful decisions that Wilson made. The intentional grounding call early in the game stands out, as does the deep pass to a double-covered Kevin Smith that should have been intercepted.

Wilson will snap out of this funk. The Seahawks just have to hope that he does it before the regular season begins.
