1. Tyler Lockett – WR/KR

The most exciting rookie in the league this preseason is more than deserving of the top spot on this list. Seattle was heavily criticized after selecting Tyler Lockett in the third round of the 2015 draft, but the early returns have quieted the skeptics.

Pocket Lockett caught 6 passes in the preseason for a team leading, 129 yards and 1 touchdown. He hooked up with Russell Wilson on a 63-yard touchdown against the Raiders in the exhibition capper last week. Lockett was a prolific pass catcher in college. The 22-year-old hauled in 187 passes for 2,777 yards and 22 touchdowns over his final two seasons at Kansas State.

Lockett is a promising young receiver, but I am predicting he will make the Pro Bowl as a returner. He showed amazing burst in the preseason, scoring on a kickoff return and a punt return this summer.

I am convinced that Tyler Lockett will be the explosive playmaker Percy Harvin was supposed to be. I think the ‘Hawks will draw up plenty of ways to get the ball in the hands of this dynamic youngster once the regular season kicks off on Sunday.
