Bonus Pick: Kam Chancellor – SS
On the surface, Kam Chancellor making the Pro Bowl surprises no one. The star strong safety has already represented the Seahawks at the event three times. However, that was all before Chancellor decided to hold out for a new contract. There is no end in sight to his holdout, and the Virginia Tech alum might not even play enough games to warrant a spot at the Pro Bowl.

The 27-year-old racked up 78 tackles (60 solo) in 2014. Chancellor picked off 1 pass and forced 1 fumble. In the playoffs, he had 26 tackles and returned an inception 90 yards for a touchdown in the Seahawks’ victory against the Panthers.
Kam puts the “boom” in Legion of Boom, and the ‘Hawks need him in their secondary if they hope to reach their full potential this season. It is in both parties best interest to get a deal done, and I hope to see Chancellor back on the field by the end of September.
