FIFTH SEAHAWKS CHRISTMAS WISHOne More Yard!!!!

I’ve defended the Seahawks decision to pass at the goal line in the Super Bowl last February. It was simply the right call in that situation. Wrong personnel? Probably. Bad execution? Certainly, but with only one timeout left and with the Patriots showing goal their goal line package, it was the smart call.

But this year for Christmas, I want that one more yard. Wherever it comes, in whatever situation, when the Seahawks get to Santa Clara to play in Super Bowl 50, there will be a situation where they’ll need just that one more yard. It could be a key third of fourth down, or maybe even a stop on defense. Or…. it could be right back down at the goal line again in a similar situation.

And if all of my first four Seahawks Christmas Wishes come true, there will certainly be an opportunity for the fifth one.

And if that happens, I just might be able to find my Christmas Spirit after all, with or without Christmas Ale.

Who am I kidding….. WITH!
