3. So is Christine Michael

You can’t blame the Seahawks for giving up on Christine Michael and getting a draft pick out of him after the preseason. It was serendipitous that Michael also flamed out in Dallas and Washington and was available when the Seahawks needed him.

Michael returned to Seattle hungry and humbled. He’s been given a chance that few get, and even fewer take advantage of. To Michael’s credit, he’s made the most of it.

Michael ran hard and turn noting into something on a number of carries. He showed great vision and balance. Better yet, he protected the football.

Michael finished with 17 caries for 102 yards. It was a tremendous performance against one of the top run defenses in the NFL.
